Cloud Computing
Cloud Computing is basically about not caring on which server you dump your files. That’s about all it is. Sorry, Guys.

After doing a year long research project on Cloud Computing, I am very willing to agree with this statement. People can speak about Cloud Computing for hours, but it simply boils down to (almost) exactly what you stated.
(perhaps software server location is a point to make, too).

I realize you’re being polemical with this statement, but I’ll take the bait.
End user acceptance of third party data storage is an important part, but it isn’t the whole idea. Many cloud technologies and services have nothing to do with storing files, or even necessarily storage of data.
See http://mdzlog.alcor.net/2010/04/22/on-cloud/ for my view.
